What do you do and what is your experience level?

I am a Multimedia professional, offering more than 8 years collectively of experience in photography, video, and graphic design. I create and design colorful and memorable visuals for magazines, record labels, musicians, and models.

Where are you located?

I am currently based in Baltimore, MD, but I am usually open to traveling for my clients.

Models, businesses, brands, people, and groups that need headshots, digitals, press release photos, celebratory photos or video services.

Pricing & Payment

What are your rates?

Every project is different, so we have different rates based on your needs. We have a brief questionnaire on our contact page that will help us determine what is possible with your budget.

Unsure about what you need? We’ve also crafted several different packages based on the most frequently requested services at rates that can cater to a variety of budgets. Our most minimal packages start at $600.

What method of payment is expected?

After we send your invoice, you can satisfy your balance using credit, debit, or ACH payments.

When/where/how do I pay my remaining balance?

After your deposit is paid, you will be sent an invoice requesting the remaining balance. Please pay your balance at least 48 hours before our scheduled shoot day. If you’d rather pay another way, please email me at mgmt@zaravisuals.com

Working together

I am a model/artist/actor - can we do TFP?

Unfortunately, at this time, unless I approach you, I am not looking for any TFP opportunities, but I thank you for thinking of me!

I need to reschedule, how do I do that?

As long as it’s a week or more before our shoot, you should be able to reschedule through the link on your confirmation email for free. If you need to reschedule closer to the shoot date, contact me with your alternative date and time - per our contract, you will be charged an adjustment fee and in some cases, you may be charged again for transportation, talent, or permits that need to be re-booked or re-secured.

What happens if we go overtime on the day of our shoot?

Every hour of overtime will be added to your booking at an additional hourly rate. No photos or deliverables will be delivered to you until that is paid.

What should I wear to our shoot?

Of course every shoot is different, so dress for the occasion, be it casual, celebratory, dressy, or professional. As a general rule, you should be able to answer “YES” to all of these questions:

  • Does my outfit choice make me feel confident?

  • Does my outfit fit me well?

  • Have I tried on my outfit recently to confirm that I love it?

  • Am I able to freely move and walk in the outfit that I chose?

  • Do the colors and/or design I chose for my outfit bring me joy?

You should also be able to answer “NO” to all of these questions:

  • Do I need to constantly adjust and pull on my outfit to make it look right on camera?

  • Do the buttons on my outfit pull?

  • Is my outfit very revealing or could it be perceived as provocative in any way?

  • Does my outfit make me feel stiff or uncomfortable?

  • Does my outfit make it hard for me to pose?

  • Do the colors, design, shape, or fit of my outfit make me feel “washed-out” or unflattering in any way?

  • Does my outfit choice make me feel insecure or “not like myself”?

Turnaround

What sort of expedited turnaround times do you offer and how much are they?

FOR IMAGES:

  • 24-hour TAT - $95*

  • 48-hour TAT - $85

  • 72-hour TAT - $75

  • 1 Week TAT - $65

    * 24-hour turnaround times are only available for packages with 10 images or less, Sunday - Thursday

Location & Travel

Where can we shoot?

Almost anywhere you like - If you’d like to shoot in the DMV area, I have a studio, which you can see here, or I have a hand-picked list of locations that we can choose from during your follow-up meeting.

What is included in a portrait package?

BEFORE THE SHOOT: A treatment, complete with mood board, styling direction, and color palette.

DURING THE SHOOT: A spacious, clean, studio, a friendly photographer giving individualized posing tips and artistic direction all throughout the shoot.

AFTER THE SHOOT: Fully retouched and color-graded digital images and an additional set of color corrected images.

*Note: you can also add a professional stylist, MUA, and/or hairstylist for an additional fee.

“Do You…/Can You…”

Do you do event photography?

The answer is typically no, unless:

  • It is a concert or live musical performance & my entry is paid for or I have a press pass

  • You require less than 20 final edited or RAW, unedited images

  • The event contains nothing on The No List

Do you do nude/boudoir/swimsuit photography?

There are many photographers and artists that do these types of shoots, however, I am not one of them. For this reason I kindly ask that you come to the shoot fully clothed. Please note that lingerie, partial nudity, and see-through clothes are also not part of my body of work. See The No List

Do you deliver every image shot?

I strongly believe that quality is more important than quantity, and for that reason, I invite my clients to choose only the photos that they think are the very best. Thus, is it not practical nor necessary to deliver every photo shot.

Can you do a commercial/logo/web design for me?

Sure! All products for commercial use are done through my other brands, SONNE Studios and SONNE Agency.
